Earl Wheeler

Earl Wheeler

Earl Wheeler, RYT 200

Looking to establish some long term goals at the start of 2011, Earl google searched “yoga” – the first link that he clicked was to the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.  Intrigued, he began to read the translations of Patanjali, and that click of a button would eventually change his life and way of being.  Soon he began a physical practice which would prove to be a most humbling experience.  He finds the most rewarding aspect of Baptiste yoga is the sheer replenishment of the soul – every time he comes to his mat there’s an immense sense of newness. Earl works in a corporate world and lives in what he considers to be a dictating society, filled with rules, walls, boundaries, and judgment of what one should be vs. what one is. Baptiste yoga is an escape from these elements.  As a teacher, Earl hopes that he can open the same door of possibility to his students.
