Class Descriptions

Power Vinyasa Yoga: Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga is a challenging and flowing form of yoga based on Baron Baptiste’s 1 part Journey Into Power Sequence that heals, detoxifies and electrifies body and mind at their deepest levels. This class will challenge  your body, your mind, and deepen and intensify your yoga practice.  Prepare to work and to SWEAT! Please bring your own mat and a towel, and come hydrated!  This class is suitable for students of all levels.— modifications available.  Come begin your Journey into Power. 

Gentle Flow: A challenging yet mindful alignment based practice steeped in the Iyengar and Vinyasa Flow traditions, with emphasis on alignment and breath. Suitable for students of all levels.

Basics: This basics class follows the same sequence as our Power Vinyasa Yoga class, but is designed for students relatively new to yoga or for those wishing to refine their practice w/focus on alignment,  increasing strength and body awareness as well as breathing techniques and explore  a wide variety of standing and seated poses, meditation and relaxation.  The room is heated, but class moves at a slower pace.


Mommy and Me:
Moms and kids practice yoga poses, associating poses with animal and animal sounds, play games, sing songs, and learn to relax.  Enrollment Required.

Prenatal Yoga: Find the tranquil connection between mind, body, spirit, and the new life inside of you in a gentle, relaxed, and therapeutic atmosphere and prepare for the sacred entrance of your child with pranayama, asana and meditation.

Renew and Restore: End your week with a restorative session that will rejuvenate you for the weekend, with supported poses that will renew and restore your body, mind and soul.  Breathe well, live well.

Teen Warriors: Teen Warrior classes are designed for teens and tweens aged 12-17 who wish to increase focus and concentration abilities while learning techniques to reduce stress. Classes are also designed to increase flexibility, strengthen and lengthen muscles, improve posture, and increase self confidence. All abilities welcome, sense of humor required.

Therapeutics: Designed to enhance over-all well being of students post-surgery or for those with chronic health conditions, such as severe arthritis, osteoporosis, heart disease, COPD, and cancers.  Experience yoga in a safe, supportive, personal and healing environment. Enrollment Required.

Yin Yoga: Expand your practice and open to a different kind of yoga class.  Floor poses are held longer, with special attention to releasing not only muscles, but connective tissue as well.  Open to all levels.
