We believe that in order to create brave spaces for the BIPOC community, we need to amplify BIPOC voices.
What is the DDY BIPOC Scholarship?
The yoga space has for too long been lacking in the diversity that we teach, and while we have always opened our doors to a rich tapestry of human beings from many backgrounds and cultures, we want to do more.
Why we created this scholarship:
We believe that yoga should be accessible to everyone, and want to do our part to increase diversity in our students, and in our teachers delivering yoga to our communities. Yoga communities TALK about diversity and TALK about accountability, but we need to DO more. We want to amplify black and brown voices.
With this in mind, we are offering at least FIVE partial scholarships up to $1000 to each of our upcoming yoga teacher trainings in Atlanta, GA and worldwide. All of these trainings are part of our fully certified Yoga Alliance approved yoga school.

We want to spread the love of yoga by empowering people of color to share this gift with the world.
Applicants should identify as Black or Indigenous Person of color.

This scholarship is open to any BIPOC student, anywhere. We do give priority to students in the state of Georgia 🍑 for our Atlanta training. We want to help create more diversity, more understanding, more connection, more accessibility, and stand up for black lives. Our brothers and sisters deserve better.

Please note— most scholarships for the 200 and 300 Hour programs range from $500 to $1000 and scholarships for CEU’s and individual workshops offer about 25% of investment. Please reach out with any questions. We are here to help and offer interest free financing.
